Akhanda Yoga

Akhanda Yoga is a lighthearted and holistic practice which gives you space and time to explore your body, mind, emotions, energy and spirit. The word Akhanda is Sanskrit for ‘whole and complete’. This practice can improve your sleep, lift your mood, help you to feel empowered, healthy and whole again to name a few benefits.

5 week courses

See and feel yourself progressing over the course of five weeks with themed classes weaving yogic philosophy into the practice.

It is best to commit to the whole course but you are also welcome to book individual classes.

Candlelit Yoga

Wednesday’s at 7.30pm : Barlestone Old School Hall, Church Road, CV13 OEE

At a peaceful venue, in a well heated room where you can experience deep silence as you explore softening stretches and powerful poses. This class is still forming so newcomers are welcome. Each week you will have the opportunity to explore deep stretches, improve balance, develop a deepening in meditation practice, improve lung capacity with mindful breathing and calm the nervous system. We talk about yogic philosophy and slow the pace of life down for an hour of bliss on the mat. ‘Supple strength and serenity’ is the general theme for this class.

Beginner’s Yoga

Thursday’s at 6.30pm : Hinckley Rugby Football Club, Leicester Road, LE10 3DR

For total beginners, this class flows through a sequence to stretch and strengthen the body and mind, giving you an opportunity to develop a meditation practice, improve lung capacity with mindful breathing, improve balance, calm the nervous system, quieten the mind and improve overall health and well-being.
